Being a "purchase centric" company it is imperative to close loans on or before contract date.  The entire company focuses on the estimated closing date.  When a loan application has been completed an estimated closing date is entered into our loan origination system (encompass 365 banker edition) allowing the entire staff to plan and prepare to meet that date.

Daily a projection list is delivered to all production staff including loan originators, processors, underwriters and closers highlighting the upcoming closings and their closing dates so the entire company is pulling to meet that date.

Our company budgets to keep a 24/24/24 turn time in underwriting, resubmission and closing.

We have also developed a streamline system to provide Pre-Approvals on TBD's transactions.  This allows for pre-applications to be underwritten prior to having a property.  True Pre-Approvals that have been reviewed by an underwriter provide our real estate partners, buyers and sellers with more confidence in negotiating offers.

THE DEPARTMENT MAINTAINS A RECOVERY FUND TO MAKE PAYMENTS OF CERTAIN ACTUAL OUT OF POCKET DAMAGES SUSTAINED BY BORROWERS CAUSED BY ACTS OF LICENSED RESIDENTIAL MORTGAGE LOAN ORIGINATORS. A WRITTEN APPLICATION FOR REIMBURSEMENT FROM THE RECOVERY FUND MUST BE FILED WITH AND INVESTIGATED BY THE DEPARTMENT PRIOR TO THE PAYMENT OF A CLAIM.
